6.3. Contract Expiry Notification

To set up notifications for contract expiry, follow these steps:

  1. Configure Contract Expiry Notifications:

    • Navigate to SetupSettingsCron JobContracts.

    • Here, you can set how many days before the contract's expiry date you would like to receive a notification.

  2. Notification Visibility:

    • The notifications will only be visible to staff members who have the Manage Contracts permission or are Admins.

    • Notifications will not be shown to clients.

  3. Contract Expiry Status:

    • When a contract expires, the corresponding row in the contract list will be highlighted with a red background for easy identification.

  4. Email Notifications:

    • You can choose to receive contract expiry notifications via email. To do so, you must ensure the correct email template is set up in SetupEmail Templates.

    • The email template will notify you when a contract is approaching its expiry date.

  5. Disabling Email Notifications:

    • If you do not wish to receive email notifications for contract expiration, you can disable the email template for contract expiry notifications in SetupEmail Templates.

This allows you to stay on top of expiring contracts and ensures that your team is notified promptly.
