To add a new payment mode, follow these steps:

Navigate to Payment Modes:

Go to Setup → Finance → Payment Modes.

Add New Payment Mode:

Click on the New Payment Mode button to create a new offline payment method.

Payment modes are used when recording invoice payments in the system. These are offline payment methods, such as cash, bank transfer, checks, etc.

For online payment modes, you can configure them separately by navigating to Setup → Settings → Payment Gateways. Online payment methods enable your customers to make payments directly through integrated payment systems.
